While Zack Top delivered a solid performance, the overall event experience left much to be desired. The advertised 9 PM start time was misleading—we were still standing outside at that hour. After an hour-long wait to enter and three hours inside the venue, Zack finally hit the stage. The opening acts fell flat. The first performer was forgettable, with no introduction or energy to engage the audience. Red Shahan, typically a strong artist, gave a lackluster performance that felt phoned in. For tickets priced at $250, the event should have been more polished. The delays and uninspired openers took away from what could have been a stellar night. The Brooklyn Bowl typically delivers great sound and atmosphere, but this time, the coordination and pacing didn’t match the venue’s reputation. Zack Top deserved a better setup, and the audience deserved a show that started on time and rocked from the beginning.
