These hard rocking Midwesterners are the stuff of legend! Formed in 1967, the Illinois raised rockers found incredible success in the 1970's, beginning in a scene that included STYX, Chicago and Cheap Trick, they quickly went on to reach chart-topping heights with their 1980 album 'Hi Infidelity', which became the soundtrack of a generation, and further spawned the emotional rock ballad 'I Can't Fight This Feeling.'

Recognizing what their fans want, REO have constantly toured in the last four decades, bringing an exhilarating and exciting show to audiences all over America, that will take you back and leave a smile on your face.

REO 7 3 2021 Cedar Rapids Iowa

After the Covid lay-off, REO Speedwagon played Cedar Rapids at the McGrath Amphitheater. If you went there to see REO play pop music off “Hi Infidelity”, they played a few of the hits. However, from the opening song, it was clear that REO 2021 decided to remind everyone that they are a rock n roll band. They blistered their way through songs off “REO Two” and “You get what you play for”, "Nine Lives, and "Tune a Piano". They sounded great and had a hard edged sound to them. Guitar solos had a cutting, almost metal sound. Drums and keyboards were crisp. The venue was packed and everybody rocked. Opening act “Head East” deserves a mention. They opened with “Raise a Little Hell”, the hit from “Trooper” and set the tone for the night. The blasted their way through their harder material as well. Excellent show, from guys who know how to put on a rock n roll concert. ... Read more

REO never disappoints!

Walked up to the ticket window at the magnificent Florida Theatre in Jacksonville FL and bought the last 2 seats together. Balcony seats on the isle. Perfect! Missed most of the opener but I was there to see REO for the 5th time. They played their 4 plus hits from Hi Infidelity which still make the ladies melt but what thrilled me the most was the mid to late 70’s songs. Songs like Son of a Poorman, Back on the Road Again, Like You Do, Golden Country, Roll w the Changes, Keep Pushin On, Ridin’ the Storm Out, and Time for Me to Fly were spot on. These songs molded me with drive and a never give up attitude as a teenager / young adult. I enjoy watching and listening to this band 40 plus years later. Kevin is a great band leader and continues to keep things sharp and professional on stage. REO was on my turntable in 1977 and I still get fired up every time I get to see them perform live. Looking forward to seeing them again soon. Remember to Keep Ridin’ the Storm Out people. REO Speedwagon you are a Great American Rock n Roll Band. Thanks for the memories and God Bless America. ...
